System For Monitoring Floods And Water Levels: It falls under the category of atmospheric or environmental monitoring, but due to its significance, it is considered a separate segment, as natural disasters such as earthquakes, cyclones, and flooding are serious concerns that must be detected and coordinated quickly and efficiently to minimize their impact. These can be accomplished efficiently by deploying smart sensors with specific functions in designated zones.
Precision Agriculture: Agriculture, too, makes extensive use of a variety of smart sensors for precision farming and to reduce losses caused by unforeseen climate changes. Smart sensors are being utilized in agriculture to anticipate the weather, monitor soil, water qual ity, etc.
