In a reflow, solderable SMD packaging, a capacitive polymer sensor chip designed and produced in-house is combined with a CMOS integrated circuit with EEPROM. HumiChip is individually calibrated and proven to perform ±2 percent from 20 percent to 80 percent RHH (3 percent across the whole humidity range) while being simple and ready to use without extra calibration or temperature correction. HumiChip uses Samyoung S&C’s recently created polymer, which gives it exceptional performance in sub-zero and high temperatures. HumiChip has achieved AEC-Q100 certification, making it more relevant to a wider range of sectors.
