Some of the brightest AI innovations that were presented in the Consumer Electronics Show 2022.

FREMONT, CA: The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world's most prominent technology event, serving as a testing ground for new technologies and global innovators. The world's most well-known brands conduct business and meet new partners here, while the brightest innovators take the stage.

At CES, NVIDIA highlighted its DRIVE Hyperion 8 platform, noting that more companies are adopting the computer architecture and sensors, which were first revealed in November. The AI platform, which is powered by NVIDIA's DRIVE Orin SoC, features 12 surround cameras, nine radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, a front-facing lidar, and three interior-sensing cameras. Developing an autonomous vehicle necessitates a completely new platform architecture and software development methodology. Further, to ensure that they can withstand the rigours of daily driving while meeting an automated vehicle's high safety and security requirements, both the hardware and software must be thoroughly tested and certified.

A Taiwanese deep tech and hyper-scale computing firm, Avalanche Computing has released hAIsten AI, a new low-code AI tool. The deep tech firm says it will demonstrate at CES how enterprises can use the platform to train AI models without coding and deploy AI with a single click. According to Avalanche, hAIsten AI uses multi-GPUs to accelerate AI development and shorten the AI development cycle from years to months. Many businesses that lack the financial resources to hire top talent – such as data scientists, engineers, domain experts, and managers – to develop AI and hire engineers to deploy AI models – would benefit from it. The new AI tool will be on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center's TTA Pavilion.

Using novel sensor technologies, Bosch and Highmark Health have decided to work in an attempt to detect juvenile pulmonary disorders such as asthma using artificial intelligence (AI). The proposed study is based on doctors using a stethoscope on a patient's chest to detect abnormal audio patterns. Highmark Health and Bosch are leveraging AI-enabled sensor technology to listen for and recognize audio cues that may aid in patient diagnostics.
