The company regularly contributes to the steering groups for the creation and revision of standards, application guides and codes of practice.
Currently, Moore Environmental is increasingly being asked to consider environmental impact and sustainability, while maintaining the integrity of the compliance and certification of the cleanroom facilities. This often means that simple energy saving projects like cleanroom air change rate reductions require significant and detailed analysis such as room particle decay testing. One recently completed engagement, involving this level of detailed analysis achieved energy saving of 35 percent for the client, while mitigating the arising compliance problems. Another such example is the creation of specialised environmentally friendly filtration rigs, which significantly reduce water usage during water system decontamination, cleaning and chemical treatment.
Other recent additions to the company’s service portfolio, include decontamination and air quality monitoring services. The decontamination vaporisers utilise 35 percent VHP (Vaporised Hydrogen Peroxide), as this can provide a 99.9999 percent surface and airborne pathogen reduction. The decontamination system is also compatible with a wide range of medical instruments and materials, with no toxic by-products because only water vapor and oxygen are produced. The addition of these complementary services and the companies existing services has Moore Environmental in an excellent position to serve its clients’ needs and to chart significant growth opportunities across all aspects of the business.
